rooting for you - is a photographic installation work in which I explore microgreens in relation to the question: “What do we do when we have a body capable of reproduction, in a world with an uncertain future?” For nature, the ideal scenario would be for us to stop procreating, but nature has granted us the ability to reproduce. I have worked around this paradox. Through this work, I aim to visually depict the surrender of a reproductive body to nature, or rather, the devotion of one‘s body to nature and the process of becoming one with it. Going back to the womb...
Exploring a potential future where stoping our collective growth means natures flourishment. Ultimately, it is an attempt to showcase an archive of future foundations and remnants of humanity.
